You’re very well advised to get Remote Desktop Manager if you’re looking for a remote connections management platform. You can use this Devolutions-developed tool to manage remote connections and to manage passwords and credentials from a central location. That central location is Remote Desktop Manager’s user friendly and customizable interface.

The system requirements for running Remote Desktop Manager are: 800MHz processor or better; at least 512MB of RAM; 1024 x 768 screen resolution; 100+ MB of free disk space; any Windows edition from XP SP2 onward. Download an installer, run it, and a setup wizard will show up.

Said setup wizard will ask you to choose one of three setup types:
Typical – recommended for most users, this setup type installs the most common program features.
Custom – recommended for advanced users, this setup type allows you to pick the program features that will be installed.
Complete – recommended for users with lots of disk space, this setup type installs all program features.

Three modes are available for Remote Desktop Manager’s interface: ribbon, menu, and classic. The ribbon mode is used by default. If you don’t like it, you can switch to another mode from the User Interface section of the Options menu. It must be mentioned here that several other interface customization options are available in the Options menu. Use them to get Remote Desktop Manager to look just the way you like it.

No matter how Remote Desktop Manager looks, it provides access to the same functionality: store and manage remote connections; store and manage passwords and credentials; import and export data; password-protect access to the application; view various types of reports; port generator; password generator; quick connect; and more. The level of functionality you get depends on the Remote Desktop Manager version you have. You see, Remote Desktop Manager is available as a Free and as an Enterprise Edition. The differences between these two editions are highlighted here.

Remote Desktop Manager is a very useful tool for managing remote connections and for managing passwords and credentials.

Pros

Remote Desktop Manager is available as a Free and as an Enterprise Edition. The system requirements for running Remote Desktop Manager are quite low; installing Remote Desktop Manager on a PC that meets the requirements is a simple matter. Remote Desktop Manager’s interface can be extensively customized. Use Remote Desktop Manager to manage remote connections; use Remote Desktop Manager to manage passwords and credentials.

Cons

Remote Desktop Manager Free Edition doesn't have as many features as Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise Edition.
